As the summer holidays draw near, we understand the challenge of juggling personal time while keeping the kids entertained!
This August, Liverpool residents have the rare opportunity see the Minton tiles, a beautiful Victorian mosaic, hidden under a wooden floor since the 19th century and one of Liverpool’s most beautifully preserved pieces of art.
As part of this exciting event, we are introducing “The Minton Tile ‘Education Corner’,” a specially designed children’s activity corner that promises fun and learning for all ages.
The Minton Tile ‘Education Corner’ will be accessible to all guests with tour tickets, offering a range of engaging activities for children and families. If you’re visiting with your little ones, they will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity and design their own roundel for the prestigious St George’s Hall.
Our activity book is brimming with fun, enlightening tile games, mazes, riddles, and crosswords that will captivate the minds of your young adventurers.
Young at heart adventurers can unleash their inner artist too! As part of our mission to cater to all our visitors, we’ve created an Adult Activity Book inspired by the mesmerizing beauty of the Minton Tiles. This book is a unique offering that will whisk you away to a world of creativity and relaxation, colour, read inspired 19th century poetry and challenge yourself with educational anagrams and proverbs.
Minton Tiles Reveal tickets are £5.50 and free for children five and under. Monday to Sunday, 9.30pm until 3.30pm
