Join us for a night of conversation with Dr Maki Mandela and Tukwini Mandela and Lord Peter Hain. Share an intimate conversation, with the Mandela’s and hear their experiences with their Father and Grandfather and how they as women carry the baton and legacy of his fight for social justice and human rights.
We are also delighted they will share a stage with Lord Peter Hain as they reflect on Nelson Mandela and his legacy and hear him share his own personal experiences of his family legacy and fight against Apartheid in South Africa and the fight to free Nelson Mandela.
The event is hosted by Marcus Ryder MBE, co-founder of the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity which was set up to explore and increase diversity across the media industry. He is also the Chair of RADA (Britain’s leading drama school) and co-editor of the book Black British Lives Matter published by Faber.
